If you watch Rock Of Love 2 and Flava Flav 3 it show you women love money. All those women would marry Bret Michaels or Flava Flav just because their rich. I think if a woman had to decide between dating rich guy who beat her and abused her or a poor guy who treats her like a queen. I gaurantee you 9 out of 10 women would choose the latter.

I dated rich men and I dated poor men…
I dated men who were abusive and I dated men who were kind..
I married a man who was a rock…..
He is as stable as they come…
He is not rich, but he does have a strength I desperately needed when I married him…He has his moments were he is kind…

I hope so, but I think at least 2 women would choose the former (the abusive rich guy) sadly enough.
er…no y are you basing it on these movies? movies are made for entertainment..although I can certainly say there a women out there, like that, but dont think all women are like that.
I mean come on..remember titanic? that shows the opposite.
Anyway i’d choose a guy solely based on how much he cares about me, not his wallet. Money cant give you spiritual happiness only materials.

I have to hold on to some faith in humanity and believe that it wouldn’t be MOST women who would choose to lower themselves to staying with a rich man who beat them, but I can certainly tell you from experience that SOME women will do just that.

If you watch those same shows, it will show YOU what men care about: fake breasts and appearances over heart. So, as many men care more about a woman’s breast size than her heart as women care about a man’s wallet size over his heart. This is the truth.

I have never really had anything extravagant when it comes to material things because i have always chose love over money. I don’t need money to be happy.
Your theory doesn’t explain why I stayed married for 15 years to my ex-husband who was abusive and financially unstable. I wasn’t after his money. (He really didn’t have much. We barely got by.) I loved him.

Reality is not something you watch at the movies or, for the most part, on television. If a man was so rich that he could commit suicide by jumping off his wallet, and dying from the fall, some where some one would think he was the perfect man. If a man doesn’t have two cents to rub together most people would say that he was a looser. But there would be a woman who would love him, not for what he has, but rather for who he is.
I knew two women the first married a rich guy who treated her like crap with a capital letter “C”. The other married a poor man who treated her like a queen; only thing is she wanted to be married to the first guy and be treated like crap just to have what his wife has got. Bonkers in the belfry I tell you.
Why are you basing anything to do with love and companionship from reality television? That makes no kind of sense. Yeah there are gold diggers but in the end they never get what the really want.
The best way to marry a rich dude, if that’s your desire, is to be rich yourself. Like attracts like. And if either Flav or Bret Michaels had any kind of real cheddar they wouldn’t be whoring themselves on VH1, tv for the hasbeens.

I don’t watch those shows, but I don’t doubt that some women go for a man just because he has money. I can’t imagine that a woman would be attracted to Flavor Flav for his looks or intelligence.
I couldn’t help but fall madly in love with my man because he still accepted me even after meeting my mother and sister. It takes a strong man with a very big heart to do that!
No. This is just a stereotype perpetuated by media dogma. Most women, care about having someone special, whom with they can share their thoughts and their experiences.
